Ellie Jane Goulding was born in Hereford England on December 30 1986. Her mother Tracey Goulding-Summers was employed at the supermarket, while her father Arthur Goulding was a member of an undertaker's family. Goulding was born in the year 2000. Her sisters are, Isabel and Jordan. The brother of her is Alex. Alex his younger brother is his Bass. Alex also is part of a Hereford-based band. She was encouraged by her mother to pursue a musical education as a young girl. She began to learn clarinet as a child at the age of the age of nine. By the time she reached 14 years old, she started writing songs but didn't begin truly singing until the college years. Goulding discovered a love for electronic music when she was studying.
