Allyson Felix

Allyson Nicole Felix was born November 18 of 1985 located in Los Angeles. Paul Felix, her father was an ordained minister of Master's Seminary Sun Valley. Marlean Felix worked at Balboa Magnet Elementary School. Felix was a natural at athletics from the beginning, as she discovered her athletic abilities when she attended Los Angeles Baptist High School. The school placed second at the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championships after only 10 weeks following the first time she tried out. Felix has graduated high school in 2003, signed the sports contract with Adidas. She then attended the University of Southern California and completed her studies in elementary education. One year later Felix earned the first Olympic medal in the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens Greece setting an unofficial junior world record taking 200 metres within 22.18 seconds. At the 2005 Helsinki World Championships, Felix was named the world's youngest champion in the 200-meter race. The title was upheld once again in 2007, beating her Jamaican rival Veronica Campbell. Felix participated at the Olympics at Beijing London Rio de Janeiro and Tokyo consistently placing within the top three places in all her competitions.
